D’lynne Plummer is the founder of Exponent Collaborative and Queens of Content and has 20+ years of professional experience as a writer, content strategist, and marketer. D’lynne is skilled at helping companies clarify their messaging and understand how to use content to meet business objectives. She also excels at assembling teams best suited to meet the immediate and strategic goals of her clients. Most of all, her clients appreciate the flexible and affable approach she brings to projects.

Maria Alexander is a “word whisperer” and certified UX designer with more than 15 years of experience as a copywriter and content designer. She’s written for some of the world’s biggest brands — such as Disney, DreamWorks Animation, and UCLA — where clients have enjoyed her solution-driven attitude, humor, and collaborative spirit. Having written multiple award-winning novels, she harnesses the power of narrative to tell her clients’ stories. And while she’s partial to the written word, she also moves easily between screens, having created memorable experiences for video, games, and even augmented reality. Her variety of expertise brings a happily-ever-after to the Exponent team.

Denver Bailey has a diverse video production background from major television productions like TruTV’s The Carbonaro Effect to viral digital video content. Denver started his company, Enjoy New Media, in 2016 and has since produced music videos with artists like KJ-52, Derek Minor, and more, garnering more than 4.5 million views online. The company is also behind a feature length documentary, The Jonah Movie, that is now on Amazon. In the meantime, Denver and his team have worked with countless businesses to help tell their story through a visual medium, and they are currently Exponent’s go-to experts for just that. Denver not only brings considerable skills to the job, he perfectly embodies the Exponent ethos of friendly, flexible, and attitude-free creative services.

Jon Bradie, principal with Unit B Creative, is a graphic designer known for distinctive corporate identity, brand strategy, and collateral that sets companies apart. From logos, brochures, and sales materials to presentation kits, editorial, and multimedia communications, Jon helps Exponent’s clients focus their brands and reach audiences. He has been on the EC team since 2013, and also created the Exponent logo that is the central visual of our identity. Previously, Jon served as the Director of Marketing and Design for the New Jersey Law Journal at an exciting time when technology was changing the industry. He art directed the newspaper’s conversion to four-color publishing, for which they won four statewide journalism awards. Jon applies his proven editorial prowess to his design work and prioritizes telling the client’s story above all else.

Dan Cropper is a talented graphic designer and website developer who has been working with Exponent since 2018. He and his team specialize in web design, ad design, marketing planning, and brand development. He is a WordPress expert and has built more than 1000 sites in his 15+ year career with an approach that is mindful toward SEO, load speed, and beautifully branded designs. Based in Asheville, NC, Dan and his team are extremely innovative, collaborative, and responsive—and they have become close partners with Exponent as a result. When not building sites from scratch, Dan enjoys getting outdoors, volunteering at his son’s school, and spending time with friends and family.

Coco Chan is an artist, illustrator, and designer with more than 10 years of training experience in fine art and master’s degrees in advertising and business design. Coco delivers compelling and strategically oriented designs with a pinch of humor. She specializes in graphic design, web design, storytelling, and illustration—both technical and artistic. When she is not creating, she’s probably fussing over her cat, Stan, with whom she is obsessed.

Jim Densmore is a designer, illustrator, storyteller, and the not-so-secret sauce behind Exponent’s success. Since the early 1990s, Jim has tackled everything from re-branding to marketing campaigns to interactive media across a wide range of industries and for organizations of all shapes and sizes. Jim approaches every project as an opportunity to provide strategic thinking paired with an unwavering eye for detail. His blazing speed and robust conceptual thinking are just the tip of the iceberg—D’lynne confesses that while she is the writer in the Exponent family, most of the clever ad copy and headlines our clients love are actually penned by Jim.

Bryce Eriksen is a digital marketer, WordPress developer, and business consultant who has worked with Exponent since the very beginning. Our clients have come to depend on Bryce not only for his digital savvy but for the startup mindset and business acumen he brings to projects. He helps our clients think through business goals and strategies, then designs websites, ad strategies, and commerce solutions to suit those objectives. Based in Sweden, Bryce works while America sleeps; we wake up to his brilliant solutions in our inbox.

Jack Fussell is the founder and chief strategist of Onward Creatives, a team of creatives with one purpose: to see holistic brand alignment. Jack’s approach is unique in the branding world as he leads through a consultative approach. His skills as a consultant allow him to build brands from the inside out. His passion is to see companies live in alignment with their brand identity both externally and internally. He specializes in building customer centric brands, uniquely building strategy packages with a customized creative support team.

Rebecca Frydman is a creative director and designer with more than 20 years of experience on a variety of cross-channel advertising and technology projects. A strong leader and conceptual thinker with a keen visual eye and an insatiable passion for design, Rebecca has collaborated with Exponent since 2010. Prior to becoming a freelance designer, Rebecca held the position of Art Director for Digitas (a Publicis Groupe company). She was also a senior designer for Arnold Worldwide.

Daryn Kagan is a familiar face to many— you may remember her from her more than 12 years as an anchor on CNN. It’s one chapter in a career spent telling storytelling across multiple platforms. Daryn transitioned from the world of doom-and-gloom traditional news to tell stories that move, inspire, and stir the soul (darynkagan.com). Today, Daryn is a syndicated newspaper columnist, author, keynote speaker, and communications expert. She brings her myriad talents—including video and social media strategy—to Exponent projects.

Anna Steinmetz is a senior at The College of William and Mary majoring in Economics and English, with a focus in Creative Writing. She is a passionate problem solver who integrates logic and creativity in everything she does. Anna joined Exponent in the crazy year of 2020 to offer data review, editing, and project management support, but her purview quickly expanded to include video editing, content creation, website maintenance, and more. She delivers high quality work in the clutch, which is what Exponent is all about.
